Given the disproportionality of homelessness, particularly among the African-American population, our vision is to impact change in low-income, underserved communities of color in order to traverse the barriers that keep the communities unstable, disenfranchised and/or oppressed. The concept of dignity is central to guest treatment.
We are Christian as in we follow Jesus’s example of showing unconditional love and commitment to serving everyone we can of any faith or none.
We are integrous in all our dealings with the public, guests and business partners.
We are good stewards of our finances and the public trust.
We are welcoming, life-affirming and non-judgmental serving our guests compassionately and free of prejudice
We are respectful in our communication
We are honest in speech and action.
We are collaborative, team-players working toward the common good of the organization and the public-at-large
We are accountable to each other, guests, donor constituencies, and the public-at-large.
We are professional and demand of ourselves high standards of competence and excellence.
We are driven by the moral responsibility to uplift our community
